I understand how stressful it can be to have a renovation done. Contractors and workmen enter your personal space, and it can feel unsettling. I’ve been there myself and know that the intrusion, noise, and mess can be overwhelming.
I’ve also experienced poor service from providers who left me frustrated with shoddy workmanship and unprofessional treatment. I never want that to happen to my clients.

How much experience do you have with this type of work?
We have been renovating homes together for 3 years, but separately we have experience in renovations for well over 15 years.
What is your payment structure?
Our payment structure is a 70% deposit – this is so we can buy materials, put orders in for cabinetry or other design elements (e.g., aluminium windows), secure workers and suppliers. 20% progress payment to be paid once we begin work the project. 10% on practical completion. Snags are dealt with once final payment has been done.
Do you offer a guarantee on your work?
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 1 year. Outside suppliers may have other guarantees in place like cabinetry, aluminium and material suppliers.
How long will my project take?
The length of each renovation depends on the complexity of your project. However, a rough guideline is as follows:
- Bathrooms: 2 – 3 weeks
- Kitchens: 3 – 4 weeks
We pride ourselves on working quickly and effectively so the discomfort of a renovation is minimal.
From paying deposit, when can the project start?
This depends on the type of project and what our schedule of work is at that time. Please note that cabinetry takes 2 – 4 weeks to manufacture before we can install. We do have multiple teams and can comfortably do 2 – 3 projects at one time.
Will you be working on other projects at the same time as my job?
We often do have an overlap of projects – however either Candice or Tori will be very hands on and present to ensure there are eyes on your project to problem solve and make sure things run on time.

Will there be subcontractors on the project?
Yes, we work with trusted specialists and contractors we have used time and again to get your job done.
How do you handle design changes/change orders?
This depends on the change. For example, if cabinetry has been signed off and in production there will be an additional fee to make changes. However, if you wish to change areas, like additional tiling or painting, we can assist and amend the quote.
Will you take care of permits/plans?
We work with structural engineers if we need to make structural changes and architects if you need to update or get new plans. There are additional charges if we need to make use of an architect or structural engineer.
Do you provide clean up or removal during and after the job? Is there a cost involved?
We do a basic clean-up at the end of each day. Please note that dust does sit in the air and does travel – we cannot promise a mess-free renovation, but do our utmost to keep areas clean while we are busy.
We do charge to have rubble removed – we prefer to use a skip to keep the mess in one area.
Do we have to move out?
Depending on the level of renovation, we do often recommend our clients to move out even if it’s just for a few days while the we do the messiest part of the renovation – this helps us to get in and work quicker without putting our clients through too much discomfort.
